Another massive gap in updating the blog, apologies. Lots has happened since the last update, more releases, more plans... Best to check the Discography page for all the details!

The latest album is mostly recorded and will hopefully see a release this year on the mighty Altare Productions on LP format, along with 2 other LP versions: split with Wapentake and a compilation of both the "Jorviking" tape and the "Division: Yorkshire" tape on a single LP.

26.09.2016 Updates

The long awaited release of  "Lyke Wake" is upon us. 9 songs of pagan grief from Yorkshire. Available now CD from Legion-Blotan.co.uk as well as digitally from legion-blotan.bandcamp.com - LP and Tape versions out in the coming weeks. There will also be a very limited tape available exclusively from Legion Blotan of a collection of instrumental demo's recorded before the album was recorded properly. It features songs that were later finished and re-recorded for the album as well as songs that were scrapped.

03.07.2016 Updates

Finally, some movement. New album is completed and mastered by KARK in Norway again after his excellent work on the "Guthmers Hahl" album. Artwork by Sindre Foss Skancke and layout by Si Clark are done and ready to go to press. The album will be released on all formats by Legion Blotan & Darker Than Black in Germany.

In other news, 2 tracks recorded in Newcastle in 2013 will finally see light of day on split 7"s with close friends Arcane North and Dommedagssalme and will be released by Legion Blotan. More info soon.

The Legion Blotan website is now back online with a new and improved look and functionality.

White Medal News:

Blog updated to include tape version of "Guthmers Hahl" and "Yorkshire Heathen Black Metal" released last year by Legion Blotan and Cold Void Emanations. Forthcoming release announced in the form of split LP (+ perhaps other formats) with Portugal's InThyFlesh. Long standing friends of both White Medal and Legion Blotan. White Medal tracks recorded in Newcastle 2013; more details to follow.

"Guthmers Hahl" T-shirt soon to be released by Legion Blotan. One version grey/silver print on Black T-shirt and the other on White T-shirt.

Work on new album; slow.

Another massive delay updating the blog. Ghost Kommando split released. New tapes versions of albums incoming.  Work on new album has started. White Medal tracks to appear on next Legion Blotan compilation "Northern Retaliation".

Quite a delay in updating the blog. In the meantime "Guthmers Hahl" finally saw LP and CD release at the end of August via Legion Blotan and Aphelion Productions.

White Medal/Ghost Kommando split 7" is now at press and should be ready before the end of the year.
