14.01.2013 Updates

White Medal News:

Two new releases were released at the end of last year; "Heathen Ridings Return" 7" and the split 7" with Danish band Slægt. Each 7" was limited to 300 copies and copies are already running low. Several distro's have copies including Tour De Garde (CAN), Fallen Empire (USA), Crucificados (GER), Analog Worship (USA), Triumph Of Death (AUT) and of course directly from me at Legion Blotan (UK). Tape versions of both releases planned for next Legion Blotan update.

"Yorkshire Steel" LP is sold out from Legion Blotan distro, copies still available from Skull Productions and Master Of All Evil. CD version is planned but no date given yet.

"Guthmers Hahl" LP/CD will be released in the coming months by Legion Blotan and Aphelion Productions of Scotland.

White Medal News:

Two new releases at press; "Heathen Ridings Return" 7" which will feature the long awaited material from the cancelled Instinct material. It's finally time to release this material and move on. The second release is a split 7" with Danish new-comer Slægt, who released an excellent first demo earlier this year. These two 7"s are both limited to 300 copies and should be back from the plant in a month or so.

Sooner than that; there will be a new Legion Blotan update with 8 new tapes, a 7" and a CD. Amongst those are new White Medal recordngs from this summer on a cassette entitled "Yorkshire Steel". 3 new songs and one re-recording of "Agbrigg" from the "Agbrigg Beast" demo tape. As this tape was only recorded this summer they are obviously seeing releasing before the proper full length album "Guthmers Hahl" which breakes my at-one-time rule of releasing all recording chronologically. Seems the failed split with Instinct ruined that pattern.

Also in the update is the "Yorkshire Heathen Black Metal" CD which will be co-released with Bubonic Productions and is a collection of the "Agbrigg Beast" and "Alone As Owt" demo's along with the "Northumbrian Tyrants" track from the "Old Ways, Once More" compilation (Legion Blotan, 2011) as well as two unreleased tracks recorded shortly after "Alone As Owt"; all of which is available in digitial format for the first time. 500 copies pressed in standard jewel case packaging. T-shirt of front cover design by Lucy Johnson will be available along with an "Alone As Owt" T-shirt (design taken from tape version cover also by Lucy Johnson).

White Medal News:

"Guthmers Hahl" album is currently being mastered by KARK mastering in Norway. Artwork is currently being worked on by Lucy Johnson who has done several covers for the project already inc. Blod o t'North Seeur 7", Alone As Owt tape version and also cover of Legion Blotan band Rife's demo tape.
